Four Femme Photographers Train their Lenses on Urban Birds

This month over at the American Birding Association they’re celebrating bird photography with a special issue of Birding Magazine, and I’m delighted to share that included is an interview feature I did with four talented women photographers: Corvida Raven, Rebecca Fenning Marschall, Melissa McLeod and Roniq Bartanen. All four women live in cities and hone their respective photographer’s eye on city birds in city settings.

You can read the feature here, and behold the beautiful photos and wisdom from these diverse artists, who represent the four corners of the contiguous US, capturing a corresponding range of birds as a result. Included here are photos from each of them, to convince you to click over to the article. Enjoy!
